Every horse has those bad days. The really smart ones, the ones too smart for their own good, usually have them more often, lol. I know that's the truth for my horse! Sometimes he just DOES NOT listen to me, no matter what I do. Those are the days that you just take a really deep breath, find a positive note to end on, and then just turn them back out.

Yeah, I think she's one of those 'too smart' horses. Not bragging, but, she is VERY intelligent. I think she just has a lot of fear of the unknown. I take part of the blame, because I do loose my cool from time to time. But, I try to stay posetive. When she gets scared, I talk to her in a joking manner and tell her 'See, it's not so bad. Is it?' She must understand that she was overreacting, because she relaxes and sighs as if she would be saying 'Oh... Well...' Lol.
