Question...

I've got a question about my lessons. My instructor offers both english and western. I started out taking western, and tried english. I fell in love with it too! Anyways, as for my question. My riding instructor has suggested I join 4-H as some of you may know. Well, my mom has agreed to let me (my first meeting is January 24th by the way! I'm so excited!), and my instructor said she thinks I'll be ready to show in the county fair this summer (late July). I'll be showing western, because I don't think I'm quite skilled enough in english. Well, there's no way I am lol. So anyways, my question is, should I start taking western lessons again in order to prepare for the show, or should I take english lessons a little longer then switch back to western in maybe a month or two? Please also explain your answer. Thanks so much!! You guys are awesome!

I would ( if i were you) finnish your western lessons until the show. Belive me, you will feel a whole lot better at the show knowing you have alot of practice under you belt. Then when your done with it spend alot of time on your english.
