| Senior Member+ | What?I work for a large newspaper. Our deadline for tomorrows paper is 5pm. I just got a call from a frantic woman. She is a animal foster home and one of her kittens escaped and is lost. It has atshma and needs meds. All of our ads are pre-pay only. She had no credit cards and the office was officially closed, so no way she could come down and pay cash to get the ad started for tomorrow. I offered to personally pay for her ad so it could start right away. Now I'm being told I may get in trouble for that? WHAT?! Honestly, what is the world coming to that they punish charity. But I don't care. It was the right thing to do. ![]()
