Pumpkin seeds or insides for horses??

Does anyone know if its safe to feed horses or dogs pumpkin "stuff" after you clean it out? I haven't ever thought about if before tonight and we usually throw it away or roast them but I thought I might feed them to the horses or dogs. From what I can find its okay but would like any input or experience if anyone has done this? Thank you

Is it full moon time again? Did the cereal truck overturn and fruitloops got spilt?

I've never given it to horses before (never had the opportunity), but have given it to my dogs in the past. They really liked it!

Thank you
I hadn't heard that it was unsafe but have never fed it fed before so thought I would ask. I was pretty sure it was safe but wanted to see if anyone else had any input. Just had some extra pumpkin stuffing tonight and thought I would give it to the dogs and horses rather than throw it out. I give them the pulp from my juicing all the time but have never juiced with pumpkins.

Many veggies, rind and all, of that nature (think winter veggies like pumpkin, squash of all sorts, etc) are good for horses.

I was just reading on another board about someone getting the little baking pumpkins, carving them up like a Halloween pumpkin, stuffing the insides with carrots and apples and stuff, and then presenting the whole thing to the horse, who just demolishes it I'm soooo gonna do that!

Just want to double check! So after I clean out my pumpkins today I can take the seeds and "meat" and give it to my horse? It won't cause any problems? I think she would like this.

My horses love it! I alway dry all the gunk and seeds by throwing it in the oven for a little while but they just devour it.
