Pull or not?

I was wondering how a morgan's mane is suppose to look? She is not a registred morgan but you can tell she is. I have been told leave it long others say pull it. I thought i would ask everyone here just to make sure. She is going to be shown in all both western and english. What does everything think?

DO NOT PULL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The mane looks better long anyway and if it is wrong a judge should tell you if it will affect your score in a show.

Id say leave it long, but that might not go over well if youre showing western. My Raps has a long, Morgan kinda mane (wavy). When I showed him western it was trimmed @ 6+" long, looked good, and I dont think that cost any/many points (placed high as 3rd). Dont do it short.

morgans are supposed to have long flowing manes. please DO NOT pull, just let it be natural. if you are going to show, then do a running braid (french braid down the crest). IMO morgans look much nicer and more elegant with their manes natural.

If you are showing western, do not do a running braid, just leave it long. Even though your horse may not be a reg. morgan, if she is built like one she'll probably look better with a long mane IMO... that said, just use your best judgment - I have an ASB who's mane I pull because he looks like an idiot with a long mane - he looks much better pulled. Since you aren't showing her in breed classes, just do whatever you thing would look best... if you keep her mane long, just leave it down for western and in a running braid for hunter Now if she was reg. and you were showing breed, you would def. want to keep it long.

As far as I know, it can't be too long, as long as it is combed and looks nice...

Most of the morgans I have seen shown go for the long flowing mane, neat kept and maybe pulled to thin (if really thick)
