People will always breed what they want. Not everyone wants a wild mustang, but some people love Spanish Mustangs. The Pryor Mountain breeders produce good quality horses and he would be a great stud for a program. These are horses that still have a demand for them. Do I agree with breeding mustangs? No. Do some people, like Wakiya, who have a Spanish Colonial Horse? Yes. Conquistador has a much better chance at being adopted as a stallion than a gelding.

There's a difference between a blooded Spanish Colonial Horse as you don't consider them mustangs this is unrelated. You can't have it both ways they're mustangs or not. I know you don't think they're actually spanish, which we agree to disagree on, so leave me out of your arguments kindly. They BLM will do what they want regardless of public outcry at least they're not killing all of the horses they round up. I agree with most of the points made here but it seems to be getting rather heated.

I'm not trying to have it both ways, most poeple consider these horses spanish mustangs. Conquistador could easily be registered as such, as he meets the requirements. I never said I don't think they are spanish. There has been genetic testing that proves they are. I just don't consider a captive bred horse to be a mustang in the true sense of the word (That is where we disagree. I view captive bred spanish horses as Spanish Colonial, and wild born Spanish Mustangs. I never said they didn't have spanish blood. I just think in order to be a mustang they need to be born wild). I was just trying to bring up the point that there is a market for these horses. Your beautiful little girl is proof of that. I'm sorry if I offened you as that was not my intention in any way.

No, I'm sorry I misunderstood the comment. I do think the pryors are nice horses and I think a degree of management is necessary
