Pregnant Mare Updates

Thought I would check in on everyones preg mares. Feel free to post updates and pictures

Just about 1 month and counting until Dottie's due date. She started bagging up about the 1st. Her due date is March 13th.
She doesn't look very big in this picture but the baby is still high and wide. From the front it is like a blimp coming at you, lol.

Geeske looking beautiful as always. Funny watching her run around with that big belly. She is due middle of April.
Look at all the mud! After I took this I washed her legs but oy...the mud is going to kill me!

Cher - due 3rd week of April. She went 3 weeks over with Ely though so we shall see. I don't mind if she cooks it longer if it comes out as nice as Ely

No pics of T...camera battery died...poor girl doesn't even get a photoshoot.

Everyone is so muddy and diry. If it doesn't rain tomorrow it will be Expectant Mares Spa Day.

I don't have pictures I have to get some. My mare is like 9-9 1/2 months in foal and she's popping like 6inches from each size, has a nice round belly. I think she has a chunker in there

I will see if I can get some pictures of Belle tomorrow. I have calculated an estimated due date of around February 9 so we are getting much closer. Poor thing is huge and I can tell quite uncomfortable. She enjoyed her grooming today and is bagged up quite abit and dropped. No milk coming out yet so I should be able to get her in her new stall before the baby. The barn was offically completed by the contractor today so tomorrow will be putting stall matts down and putting tack racks up as well as lights so she should have a really comfy place to have our first baby.

Beautiful preg mares. Best wishes with them foaling down.

Here is my maiden, 7yo pony mare, she's in foal to my Arab Deriv colt.
Due roughly 12th Feb, well she last had contact with the stallion on 7th March 2007, preg test on 26th Feb 2007 was neg, but we rescanned her on 4th Jan 2008 & she's definitely preg!!

Taken yesty, 2nd Feb.

To me, she's not big, in tummy or udder, but being a maiden, she might not follow the rule book, lol.
She showed udder changes on the 26th Dec 2007!!

Heres the boy she's in foal to.

livelovelife - Geeske is a Friesian, bred to a Friesian.

mutrok your mares are beautiful, Dottie is my favorite... she looks almost exactly like my Appy mare, Shy that I had to put down last year.

Everyone's mare's are gorgeous! Love all the fat belies!
