preg mare/mare with foal rescue for free

There is a rescue who is willing to post bail for a pregnant mare and a mare who has a week old foal. They will also pay transportation cost.
These are the horses awaiting transportation to slaughter to Canada.
The mare will go and the foal will get left back, if no one adopts soon after, the foal will die due to no care.
If the pregnant mare does not deliver before slaughter transport she will still go pregnant.

This rescue does not have any room at their rescue, but they want to see them rescued.

These are the mares awaiting slaugher in Fallon, Nevada.

Boy this really frustrates me! All these horses that need homes and I can't help because I'm still waiting for my property to vacate!!

I Hope they find homes!

If I lived a little closer I would take one. But I dont think they will help to transport to Texas. That is probaly to far.The story made my son who is 11yrs old cry. He asked what would happen to the mares and that baby so I told him. He asked why why cant they kill something else like deer or something. What do you say to that? I just told him honey I dont know. He wants one of those mares bad he said if he had the money he would pay it himself. Wish I was closer to help.

I just re-read are these already saved???

Pocahontas, You really are helping so much, the calls and the rescues that can take in a mare (s) and her foal or soon to be foal. Also the people as well wanting to take in the Mares...

I just tried it and it worked.

Being in Texas, I bet there is the same situation there. Horses waiting to be transported to Mexico.
