Possible Sabino

So, I am here to question you guys about my month old filly being Sabino.
Mom is bay with a star, and one hind sock.
Dad is brown with star, snip, and three white feet.
Baby.......
Is bay with a HUGE blaze, one hind sock, and white on her lower lip. Would her parents have thrown that much white, or could it be a sabino trait?

Edited... lol

Sure it could be sabino. Sounds like the filly we had back in 98.

It's possible that her dam is sabino but it is hidden in her genes, have you noticed that there are far more chestnuts with chrome than brown/bay/black horses? or it could be a fluke thing

She's Sabino. Do you know anything about her parents?

He might carry it and just isn't expressing it. Do you know what his parents were like?

Baby is Sabino, and most likely got it from Mom. The white IS the Sabino.

Oops....
Yep, he does have white I guess. He is not near my area, and when my compy crashed I lost those pic, so for some reason I was thinking he was solid.

With his white, is she still a possible sabino?

His white, mom's white, both are Sabino, and the photos of the filly are most definitely Sabino.

What exactly is Sabino? It's largely not understood, but what IS known is there are more than 1 markers for it - SB1 is the one currently identified, Sabino1. However, not all horses that are obviously Sabino test for it, hence the knowledge there are additional components.

In the most obvious form, it's responsible for white leg markings that usually have an upside down V jagged end to them, and big stars/stripes/snips with the lower lip also being white.

Many researchers on this attriture ANY star/ankle to Sabino, though it's not proven.

The white can go wild and produce very loud offspring, with the most loud being the all-white, maximally expressed Sabino (NOT to be confused with a Lethal White foal, and is not an albino (which doesn't exist in horses) either).

Here is a foal from a fairly minimally marked dam and a solid sire:
StarSale - Veulens

Here are other cool Sabinos, from TCF's site:

A very famous one, Puchilingui:

And here are great examples of maximally expressed (all white) Sabinos:
