You need to have some bend in your elbows instead of holding your hands out like you are doing which is making you have hunched shoulders. Also, you might want to bring your leg back just a tad.

You actually look quite stiff. Bend your elbows and bring them down by your sides. Because of the position of your arms and the length of your reins, it seems like your horse is in control and pulling your arms out of their sockets!! Try shortening your reins a tiny bit (not loads), bringing your elbows by your sides and squeezing with your hands alternately to get him listening to you.

But apart from that you look good. You're looking where you want to go, you're not looking down, your heels are nicely pushed down, toes are in and hands are up.

Maybe its just me, but your irons look a tad long.

I would bring your irons up a notch or two. Your heel looks good, just bring your leg back a tad.

Like others said, dont forget to bend your elbows a bit.

Otherwise you are looking good, keep up the good work.

The green lines correspond to where you should be, the red lines is where you are.

You need to close your hip angle and keep your elbows at your side. Your leg is wonderful, and your reins are just at the correct length.

I agree with Horsez.

Sit up, right now your upper body is too far back, and when your horse moves off into a trot or canter you will get left behind. Shift your weight forward onto your seat bones.

Work in two point. This will get you over your horses center and strengthen your lower leg as well. It is already really nice!

Relax your arms, once you sit up more you will have more bend in your elbows. Any stifness you have in your arm will be transmitted through the riens to your hroses mouth. See how his nose is out and hes bracing against you? A soft rein contact will encourage a soft horse.

I agree with all the above posts, and just wanted to add that overall you look stiff. Your leg is nice and solid, but your ankle look stiff to me. Your entire arm is very tense as well, and back looks stiff too. Specifically take a couple minutes when you ride to walk on a loose rein, and no stirrups and just relax and try to move with the horse and get comfortable. But overall you look very nice!

make sure tho wen you do close your hip angle more, you dont slump foreward, as so many riders do. remember to keep your shoulders back

You need to relax your elbows a little so your not so stiff and putt your hands closer together but other than that you look good. Cute horse
