Question Pony Saddle size help needed!

My friend's little girl has a 22.5" inseam. What size saddle do we need? She's 8, but she's very tiny.

I had someone the other day with two children, one a 22" inseam and one 24" inseam.

They went with a 13" Seat in a Western Saddle, the fenders had to be shortened, because normal fenders on a 13" were a little long.

This will give a little growing room and in a few years longer fenders can be installed, prolonging the use of the saddle during growing.

What would be the fender lengths on a 12"?

A 12" Seat like Abetta, Dakota or Fabtron has I believe is good for 20-24" inseams.

I mentioned a 13" because of the longevity choice and that with those seat sizes saddles have more options on the Horse they will fit.

Most 12" Seat only come in Semi-QH Trees, so that is a limiting factor.

Are you fitting a small Pony? Semi-QH will fit some Ponies, but not very many.

If I had to guess the two children were about 6 and 9, one about 50-60lbs and the older 70-80 lbs, hope that helps a little
