how many of you use this

im on the fence... my three horses ( my stallion and 2 pregnant mares due in2009 ) do not come intp contact with other horses and dont leave the property, not yet anyways.
i have been reading alot of pro's and con's about this vacc so i haven't decided if i will use it.

Better safe than sorry. I've never had any issues with using it.

I've seen people use it and still have problems and obviously not use it and have problems. I firmly believe in letting some of nature take it's course. (IE too much antibiotics can do you more harm in the long run than the cold, etc) would.

No vaccine is an absolute guarantee!

Remember that Rhino/EHV is very easily spread! You can bring it in, anyone who come on your property can bring it in.

That it will indeed keep your horse from getting sick Or that it'll work.

Or that you can give it to your horse without side effects.

I used the vaccine

I took Tiffany off the property while pregnant, and she arrived pregnant. I didn't want to take any chances...

I guess you just run a risk either way. I have read alot about mares aborting a week to three weeks after the shot so, how do you decide?
I really don't know what to do.
