Please Give Your Opinions on my Niece

ok Ill admit, I love the kid... thats why Im posting. Im normally really good at blocking emotions and seeing a thing for what it is. And I think I can do it w/ my neice... but you never know! lol, so if you could post your opinions on how shes doing thatd be great!

Chloe's 6 years old, and has been riding for a couple years, but basically just balance stuff. This is her second time in the english saddle, I introduced her to heels down and thumbs to the sky today... so at this point its just constant reminders. She rode Miss Maxine, our 26yr 13.2hh Arab rescue case.... PLEASE DONT CRITIQUE THE HORSE, shes dedicated her life to hauling little ones around and shes great at what she does.

she'd be great at showmanship, lol

talking...

going up and over a big pile of dirt, not going to say anything about this, since she did great for a 6yr old in a totally different saddle[aka a saddle, lol, shes always ridden bareback]

trotting - this is huge, Chloe's pretty timid, and is only comfortable trotting on Ginny her first teacher whom has AWESOME gaits...

she needs to look up, push her heels down a bit more[though thatll come w/ time, cant expecther to have that so soon!] same goes for thumbs up

I think she looks really good, though she needs to look where shes going... and bend her elbows... im loving the leg.

first time going over the thingy all by herself, a little nervous so her heels came up

and loving Maxi up... these girls really are amazing together

That is EXTREMELY good for a 6yr old....She's going to be an awesome little rider!!! Good Job!

I can''t really comment on the horse, other then to say she is worth her weight in gold for her temperment!

I would say she was great even if she was bouncing left to right.
She is a Trooper! What a little rider she is. Out in the snow, over the dirt pile. I think she is special just to go out and ride by herself on a big horse at her age. Forget where her heel are. She has herself in a saddle. That is great for any 6 year old.
You being out there with her also says a lot about you.
Good Job.

She looks to have very good balance for a child so tiny (she's small for her age huh?)
Her arms are very straight is the first thing i would notice, she needs to bend her elbows a little more to give her a "softer" feel on the mouth.
I think she looks like a natural and on a pony a bit more her size she would be really really good with a bit of work. (finding ponies small enough with enough training for beginners is tough hey?)

I think she and you are doing great. Love to see the littlies up there and having fun. Just love that huge smile. And it doesn,t matter what the horse looks like, her nature makes up for any faults she may have.

aw, she is precious! So is the pony. Those pictures really made me smile. And wow, she usually rides bareback?! Thats impressive. I LOVE the last 3 pictures. You should be very proud. She seems like a natural.
