I am not going to do a confo critique. However, I don't like him at all, aesthetically he does nothing for me. Very plain over sized head, and he looks to have a slight ewe neck.

DEFINITELY get a vet to check him out. Conformation aside, he seems underweight (you can see his ribs in all the pictures) but also has a pretty big "gut" that makes me worry about a severe case of worms. I think yearlings and foals should always have some extra weight, but it should be distributed evenly in the abdomen area. |

In short I would pass. There is nothing about him that says wow. With the market as flat as it is you really need to be three times as choosy as everyone with horses for the most part has a horse for sale. He looks underfed. Wormy and out of balance. I just do not like his head and neck.

Well, with the market the way it is. I would agree with the other posters on the fact that he is, well, nothing special. Yes, his head looks to large and his neck is thin and short, he has a hay gut and appears to be under weight a bit. Pictures can tell a good story about a bad horse and a bad story about a good horse, all depends. He could grow up to be an awsome horse with wonderful conformation and will grow into his head and get rid of the gut. His hind end looks straight, legs look okay. Would have to see him from all angle s to really get a good conformation idea about him. What are you thinking of paying for him? What would you use him for? With such a flat market, you can be choosy. |

I don't care for him. His head is really big, he looks under weight, his neck looks real thin, and his back seems really short. That is just a few things that jumped out at me right away.

To be honest, I don't like him. His overly large gut suggests that he has worms. And it looks like he is slightly under weight. He looks slightly ewe neck. His top line is poor and his pasterns are upright. His head is plain and large. His legs look gaunt and he has poor muscle.
