Even though 2 of the babies were solids, I can def. tell that Player throws quality foals.

Ok I have a question, You were calling her a bay dun. But you cant register a bay as a dun, right? I have a bay mare with a dun stripe but she's just reg. a bay. I know you dont see a stripe on the baby now but that just got me wondering. Thanks

If you read the posts correctly you'll see that Acme Acres stated that they overshot the colour. There was no dorsal. However yes, I believe there is a registration availability for bay dun. A dorsal stripe is not always a full indicator of the dun factor either. I have had a bay Thoroughbred with the dorsal striping however TBs don't carry the dun factor.

A "bay" dun is simply registered as a dun. They come in a lot of various shades. What this filly had and Madvoice's TB has is just counter shading.

And it looks like (at least Im hoping she chooses it) the filly's name should be.... IB Playin In Oil (her mom is a Charlies Out of Oil granddaughter)
