Smile Planning Our Trip to see the Colt!!

I am so excited! We are flying out to California on the 29th to see the colt! I just dont know what to do with myself! My birthday is on the 30th, so the trip and the colt are kind of a B-Day present, althought I will have to pay for most of him. My boyfriend just melted when he saw the video...and, the strangest thing happened...when I opened the package of the video, the letter inside had some information on the colt and his sire and dam, and as I was reading through it I noticed his foal date was March 20. This is the day that my sister passed away 2 years ago! I truly believe he is a little gift from heaven from my sister! I know, I am probably crazy, but I dont think that is just coincidence...Just had to share

you know....I don't think you're crazy. I hope he is everything you wished for....if it's truly divine intervention he will be. He must be pretty special if you're going that far to see him.

Desert,

Well that is just wonderful. That little foal doesn't know how lucky is going to be. Congratulations. He sure is beautiful. That neck just goes on forever. I love him.

Simon- His registered name is Gabriel MO, but I wanted to somehow incorporate Lindsay or something after her to call him. I am not sure yet...maybe when I go see him it will come to mind Thanks for the nice comments

how about Lindon? Lindee? I had an uncle named Lindee so it could work for a colt If it is a gift from God then maybe his name gabriel is fitting, your very own angel to look over you named Gabriel, I think it fits. I'm sure you'll come up with a barn name for him that is special and just right for you both as soon as you see him Good luck!

Thank you Sher...I think you are right though, I like Gabriel. I have been calling him the little fella (fellow), and it has sort of stuck, so maybe fella for a barn name, who knows, if all of this has fallen into my lap, I am sure Lindsay will send me a sign for his name or nickname too!

You all have such nice things to say...Thank you so much.
