Talking Pinto World Show Results

Sorry but I have to post a little brag session because I am so proud of my boys!!

LA Cochise (Joey) is a 1999 bay tobiano Half-Arabian/NSH/Pinto gelding (The Color of Fame x Angel Blue) I have owned him for 7 years.

SDR Aint No Saint (Max) is a 2000 palomino tovero APHA/Pinto gelding (Saint Pats Cat x Impressive Cinder) my family has owned him for 3 years, and he is technically my sister's horse, but she has not had time to work with him so I brought him to Missouri to show.

Reserve World Champion Open Western Pleasure Stallions/Gelding SA/PL Types
Reserve World Champion Open Ideal Pinto Western Saddle/Pleasure Types
Numerous Top Ten Awards

Finalist Jr. Amateur English Pleasure Hunt Seat Stock/Hunter Types 6 & over
Finalist Jr. Amateur Hunter Under Saddle Stock/Hunter Types 6 & over

Wow! That's awesome! Did you ride your horses, or was someone else riding?

Yep I rode them in everything, except I had my trainer ride Joey in one class (the Open WP Stallions/Geldings) and she went Reserve! She hadn't ridden him in 4 years and only got about 2 minutes to warm up because I had won the class right before that and had to get drug tested, so it was really hectic! (thats me on the horse and my trainer standing next to us)
And about the jacket, thanks I love it! Credit to Dry Creek Designs of Meridian, ID. Liz does some really great work.

Yes they are all from this year. Last year we won AM WP SA/PL Types and that was a huge deal for me, so this year was just unreal. We also showed there in 2004 but only got Top Tens. I will admit that the Saddle/Pleasure division isn't quite what the Stock/Hunter division is, but its still taken a lot of hard work to get to this point!
I've never been to APHA World, but aspire to do that someday...when I get a Paint (Max is my sisters and she wants him back, plus he isn't sound anymore). He didn't make it to his western classes which was really disappointing because I think he is really good at western pleasure. Joey being a little superstar made up for it though. Joey is being used for WWU Summer Riding camp this week...its so funny. He packs kids around pretty well and had never done anything like this before. Such a trooper!
