My girl has these, not to noticable in winter but in summer you can totally see it. I know she had a shoulder injury when she was in training, but this injury was only on one side, so why do both. She never raced because once her shoulder heald she did not have the heart to race, at least that is what I am told. I have read that they do this to deaden the little nerve endings in there legs, they don't feel pain as much so they keep going
even when off. How can it make them run faster? It can't!
