Pictures! Jumping and evil pranks

Some pictures from this Saturday...

This one was 4'3"... my own form went to heck in a handbasket (ducking horribly), but I LOVE this picture because of how effortless Sky looks. Gee whiz, he's a good foot and then some over the top of the pole! (The little standards are 5').

This is him all tuckered out. He worked hard. Saved my butt a few times, too.

I'm hanging this one on Sky's stall when I go out tomorrow. So everrrryone can see. Bwahahaha. There's a running joke about trainerman's "girlish figure," so the opportunity was too good to pass up. Yes, I do this kind of thing regularly to him.

You guys look great! And you are evil, but I bet your trainer loves it!

Nice! And your form isn't THAT bad. You have a good strong leg and that's the most important thing! I love the way Skye looks going over the jump,

imo the best trainers are the ones who love to joke, pull pranks and treat you like their kids. Because it means they care enough to make you do your best. Our trainer and her husband like to spray us with hoses, toss us into the icky stock tank and steal our boots if we leave them out while swimming or spending the night during summer camp. We get into crop fights and mud fights during the rainy season and I can honestly say I would not have it any other way.

Look at Sky! He's literally romping over that pile of poles, like he doesn't figure it needs any effort from him. His expression is like "Dude, this is boring me to tears, right now."

What a handsome boy.

PS - that straight line bit-elbow made me happy in inappropriate places!

Sky and you look wonderful! No one ever said that you needed perfect position to jump the big sticks, just get over them! Lovely horse!
