Jubile,

What an amazing transformation. Little cuties they are. That bay with a star melts my heart. You must have some amazing stories to tell. How lucky those horses are to have found you! Thanks for sharing. I love those quarter ponies. Just something about them.

Thanks guys. Like i said, its been a TON of work getting them back to health.... it seems like there have been new issues around every corner for these guys, but they are finally moving up now! Its always hard when it comes time to find our rescues new homes. You get attached to them when you work so hard to help them. These guys are going to be extra difficult to part with...i've never had to work as hard as I did to bring these guys around. It took them months and months of care before they even started acting like young horses! When they first came in they barely moved or even acted alive....I think they were here for about 6 months before they started playing when i'd turn them out to the pasture (it was one of the greatest days i'll keep in memory, the first time I turned them out and they actually trotted out to the pasture, and then to watch them buck and kick for a minute or two!)
Anyhow... they are awesome little ponies. If anyone knows anyone looking send them my way! They are all eligible to be registered (i've already had an inspector look at them) and they are a pretty nice height for a kid's pony... between 12.2 and 13 hands each.

Bless you one thousand times Jubilee! Looking at the before pic brought tears to my eyes but the after pictures are totally awesome. I know what you mean about having the memory of the first time they actually played etched in your mind. We rescued a donkey who was a rack of bones and extremely weak, could barely stand, and I will also remember the first time I saw her canter down the field. It's was an image which is permanently burned into my brain.

Wonderful job. I hope they get the perfect forever homes.

That is just awesome that you rescued them. The improvement is huge. Look at how thin they were before!
Don't be ashamed of the muddiness now; it is just a fact of life for this time of year. Although around here, the snow tends to clean some of the mud off their feet.
