PICS of my stud !!!! He's FINALLY home

Unlike the one I posted on my other thread here he is on the flesh. to see baby pics check out the other thread. so here are the semi decent pics I got of him today. He's as good as I knew he would be, he's having fun being buddies with my little weanling colt (his gelding is set for this winter, I only wanted one stud)

Enjoy, I get to enjoy the real thing! He has BOTH testicles, I double checked (ive known some colt's testicles to drop then go back up) please I want HONEST opinions. he is 14.1 hands at 1 year 1 month. here are his lines
Coys Roman Jewel Quarter Horse
Imma be using him for stud for those who are just tuning in...
Oh and he's N/N tested.

Thanks
Nikki

Pretty boy! I like him ALOT.
I agree with Horsefeathers3, I like his hip alot. I think he has a cute head too.
I can't critique or anything though, I'm horrible at it.
Congratulations on your new boy, I hope he's everything that you wanted and more.

Before I open my mouth (or type ) do you REALLY want honest opinions? Really think about that.

well keep in mind he's a yearling and dont be too harsh the only thing i can see is that his neck isnt perfect but I think that will get better with age. he's pretty gawky still and will improve in time. Please dont be too harsh but if there is anything severe please let me Know. his feet need trimming so he's a tad off but not bad. he was very hard to find and was the best out of all the colts I looked at. most of the colts were EXTREMELY posty all the way around and I want to barrel race him later. so be gentle. I'm going to be breeding to make money. I dont have any mares on my property they are all geldings so he can still be a horse and have friends and less stress than having a mare teasing him on the other side of fence. He wont be up for stud until he has ATLEAST 5-10 AQHA halter points and I expect him to have an ROM in halter by 8-10 years old. I have big plans for him but if it dont work out he will be gelded before he sires so much as one foal. I explained this in my first post but I feel I should bring it back up.

thanks

Nikki

I like him. For a yearling, I think he looks wonderful. Keep us posted on his training and progress. I hope you achieve everything you want and more with him. Good luck!

I really like him, but I can't say that he screams stud to me. Then again, it's very obvious that he's at an awkward growth stage right now, and I loved him in the younger pictures you posted of him.

I think I'll reserve comment for 3-6 months.

He'll make a nice gelding but not stud material in my book! Average horses with average lines are a dime a dozen and the market is way down and over populated with the slaughter ban so think about adding to the problem.
