As far as I can tell just from looking at him. He's had all his shots & was wormed in December & had a negative Coggins in September of 2004. Of course I can't get near his feet right now, but overall, they look very good except for needing a trim. He's very alert & curious & has an excellent appetite. His poop looks good too (Gross, I know) & he is peeing just fine. When he took a nip at my jacket, I was able to get a look at his teeth & they look really good except for one in the front on the top that's broken in half.

Being that laid back and off to himself would almost make me think that there's something going on. But you never really know. If all looks well, then I suppose it is.

Thank you! That's very sweet. Believe me, I will keep everyone updated on his progress. I'm already very attached to him & I think he will be just fine. I don't want to spoil him, but I don't want to scare him, you know what I mean? The more I look at him, the more I see Draft in him myself, esp. the neck & feet. He seems like he's going to be very sweet once he gets used to us & the other horses.

After reading all the comments in this thread, I have no doubt this horse is in great hands and will be well cared for. I admire anyone willing to take on such a project as it speaks very favorably about an individual's devotion to these animals, & you definately have it.

I would not be the least bit concerned about any type of legal action from the government. What would be the alternative? Siezing it only to put it back into a system that is designed to place it in a good home to begin with? The horse is obviously in a good place and is home - that is what matters most. However, if you do encounter bureaucratic govt red tape that defies logic, PM me or email me & I might be able to help out. Good luck!

Thank you! You have brought tears to my eyes. I am already so attached to this horse & I am going to do everything I can within my power to make sure he is well taken care of, as are my 2 other horses. IF I have problems, I will most certainly let you know, but I really don't foresee any problems. You have made my day!

Hehe! Okay Miss. Thunder, I'll do just that! Thanks so much for your compliment on him. He saw me come out of the house this morning & started whinnying. I still heard him when I was getting in my car. I felt so bad. I'll be so glad when I can let him out with the other horses. He seems so lonely.
