Pics of Griffin wearing a BUNGEE

For those of you following the "Training with a bungee - pros and cons" thread, here are some photos I took today showing what my bungee looks like. Sorry for the cra*ppy pix, it's really tought to lunge a green horse at the same time you are trying to photograph him!! Every time I put down the whip and picked up the camera, Griffin was like - "OH, break time!" lol.

First pic shows the bungee hanging on a fence post - the split ends go on the girth between the front legs, the joined end would be on top of his pole.

Last 2 pix just show Griff, cuz I love him and he was looking kinda cute! It's his third Birthday Today!

OH shoot - the pix came up backwards order! The middle one shows the frame he should be in, if not lower - I had the bungee adjusted very loose when I took the pix and it wasn't really doing what it should be doing...

The way you are using the bungee, and his calm relaxed reaction just proves that it's a good tool!

Thanks for the reassurance...I worry sometimes, but should trust my insticts. He is (obviously) totally cool with it and evidently has quite a lazy streak!

what exactly is the bungee supposed to be doing? If it is to develope a "headset" it was not working when the photos were taken. If he is in the frame you want in the middle picture and it is so loose then my thought would be "you don't need it".Don't get your horse used to something he doesn't need because when you remove it you may find it has created problems.Cheers
