Pics from yesterday...

Ok, I was to embarassed to get before pictures, but here are some after pictures. This is Buffy, my Belgian, after her bath yesterday. She was really nasty before, you could even tell she had 4 socks. Now, even though her feathers and tail are still a bit discolored, I did get most of the blood, mud, and algea off. She looks like a whole new horse. We mixed some skin so soft in with the shampoo to help keep the flies off during her bath. It worked a little.

she looks pretty good to me

You probably washed off most of the skin so soft. put more on her when you are done next time and it'll work better, the flies here are awful too and not much is working on them.

I know I got her legs and belly good and clean, but I couldn't get much of her neck, back, or mane. I don't have a good stepladder, and that's what I need to reach those areas. I tried though. She smelled good for a few minutes at least before the flies came back.

There was one huge horsefly buzzing arund, but it never landed so we could kill it. It was about 2 inches long and so dark it looked solid black. I know that one would have hurt if it got to bite.

How old is she, she looks like she is still a baby, but a very nice baby!

She just turned 4 on May 23. So yeah, she is our big baby. She is so sweet, playful, and active. She loves to run around and she really loves to swim and roll in the pond.
