woo they look pretty good to me!!

- they could bring their feet more forward- not let them slide to far back
- i'd like to see a little more release

other than that..i really don't see anything too bad

#1- Her leg has slipped back, probably because she's pinching with her knees. Her toes are pointed a little far out. I think she's overjumping a little.
#2- Her leg has slipped back, and she is ducking. She should bend her knee and bring her seat down a little closer to the saddle.
#3- She looks pretty good here, maybe heels down more.
#4- Heels can come down more, and she's jumping ahead, not waiting for her horse.
#5- She needs to stretch her weight down into her heels and get her leg underneath her, instead of out in front of her. She looks a little far back in her two-point.
They both look like awesome riders, and really cute horses

some nice pics you've got of your friends there!

here's a little critique, cause well...you posted it in critique!

#1-- I'd like to see a significantly bigger release with this rider. Her short release has caused her to have "chicken wings", and also to hold her horse back. Her leg has slid back quite a lot, but I seem to find that when your arms and upper body are in the correct position, it causes your lower body to fall into a more correct position. And she could turn her toes in a little. Cute horse

#2--I LOVE this picture. Adorable horse with an awesome jump, and the rider looks like she knows what she's doing. The horse is adorable. End of story. As for the rider, I like her release, which is bigger than her first one, but I'd still like to see it be a little longer. Then again, it's obviously not holding her horse back this time, and who knows...it might be required for that certain horse. Her upper body position is really nice. I'd like to see her leg come forward more, but the rest of her looks so good, that I'm thinking maybe it was a one time thing. Also, HEELS DOWN!!

#3--Same as above.

#4--WOW really short spot!! Most riders get discombobulated at a short spot like this, so most of her position I'm going to give to that fact. But the one thing that I see right away is that she should be slamming her leg onto her horse's side and pushing him forward over the jump, rather than pulling him back and letting her leg relax. When a horse gets a spot this short, a little backup propulsion from the rider's leg sends the horse over the jump more easily than if they have to do it all on their own.

#5--Cute horse!!! Unless this girl has a very.....odd....riding style, it looks like she definitley got left behind, something that happens to even the greatest riders. This has caused her leg to slide forward and her butt to be left in the saddle, hence the term "left behind" (just a little trivia for ya lol!!). Her toes are mainly pointed up, but I'm also going to give this to the being left behind. She's looking slightly down, but I'm also gonna give that one to the being left behind. I do REALLY like though, that even after being so severely left behind and gripping to not fall backwards, she hasn't taken a death grip on her horses mouth. That's a common impulse to yank on your horses mouth to secure yourself, but that's never a good thing to do. This shows me that she is a strong rider, being able to keep herself otgether in the air, without having to rely on using her horses mouth as balance.

EDIT:: to say that i just realized that the first 4 are all the same rider and horse.
