**PICS**- Dodger's new blankie, colts in the barn, trail ride

Haha yes MORE pictures from me. I told you I would drive you all nuts with my fancy digital camera!

Here's some pics of the 2 year olds in the barn this morning getting their grain...still no name for the grey:

Dodger's new blanket came in yesterday. I wanted navy, but my mom ordered green by accident. So green it is. I think it is a little bit too big but oh well. It's an 80, and his old blanket is a 78 and his butt pokes out the end. I guess this will do. I do not have the front done up all the way in the pics so maybe that will help too.

I went for a ride on Dodger this morning. It's cold today, -18 C (0 F) and I had on long underwear (top and bottom!), jeans, snow pants, hoody, winter jacket, 2 pairs of mittens, a pair of normal socks and a pair of wool socks, winter boots, scarf and head band LOL!!! I looked puffy. No pics of me though haha.

Dodger's head LOL

Molly comes with us...

View from our place:

Our farm...you can't see the house, it's behind the trees LOL

Great pics!!! You have so much more snow than we do so far! That colt is adorable, love his color and snow blanket. I think Dodger's blankie looks great though, green suits him even if you wanted navy, and it looks a little big but not by much and if you can do it up more in the front that might fix it. You should take some pictures of you all bundled up! We could have a 'Who looks most like the Pillsbury Dough Boy riding' forum contest! I'll enter for sure! I use a skidoo suit over all of that stuff! It's pretty funny trying to step up into the saddle with that many layers eh?

Thanks for sharing!

Hahaha we should have a contest to see who's most bundled up...This is what I usually wear when I ride...this is from October though, not today:

Lucky!! Although if I'm just in the paddock I go bareback but I think I'm going to have to pick up a seat warmer thing this winter for out on the trails. I wish I had pictures of me bundled up, next time I go out I'll get someone to take a few, I look ridiculous. And I meant to say last time, I'm not driven nuts yet so more pictures!!!!

LOL We don't have an indoor, we haul to one. Actually I think next week I am moving Dodger to the neighbour's. They are only a 5 minute drive from our house and have an indoor so it's easier than hauling down the icy gravel road there.

Oh don't worry, I am sure there will be lots more pics from me to come. We are going to get on the colts in a week or 2 (planning on it anyways LOL) We just need more pics from you!!

I would love to have access to an indoor, everyone around me just likes to freeze I guess. But sounds great, can't wait to see those pics! And yes, I know, I've been neglectful of my camera lately. I'll try and get some soon. Hard to want to take pictures when the babes are mud balls with the slushy weather lately.

If only there was a bunch of snow on the ground...lol.
Love the green blanket, it looks good on Dodger.

And yes, indoors are a blessing. I LOVE mine, but, as shown by the picture, I haven't used it lately.

LOL!! I have to keep Dodger in shape somehow! I just can't wait to move him to the neighbours next week...then I can ride in an indoor all the time

I ordered his blanket through my mom's tack store. I ordered it from Glover. It's an "Arctic Quilt" LOL The green does look better on him than his old red one. Uuugh that clashed with his colour so bad LOL

LOL!! I love that pic of you and Baby...keeping warm on her bum!!! I like the indoor because I can actually ride more than just a walk or trott without fear or killing myself or Dodger LOL
