People thinking im weird for feeding BOSS and Flax Seed...

Well i had to move barns because the one i was at before took way too long to get to, this is all in conjunction with the divorce my parents are going through. I moved in with my mom in a town over 20 maybe 30 miles away from the barn, so Felis had to move closer to home.
And i was cleaning my stall and getting Felis' grain reasy and i had it sitting on her grain bin, well like 3 people walked by and stopped and were like "what is that" i explained and they thought i was crazy lol. Obviously they have never been on HGS lol.
Has this ever happened to you at your barn?

Alot of people still think horses need grain to survive.I think some are not educated enough to know that there is"another way"of a healthy diet.
My horse doesn't get boss, but an alfalfa-grass pellet mix(the pellets are just minerals and vitamins). The barn owner once asked me if I was trying to starve my horse lol She thinks I'm crazy!! Keep doing what you are doing, proper balanced nutrition does not have to come from grain!!!

oh yeah!!! Everybody at my barn thinks Im weird! cause I use flax, boss, oats, a senior mix, and I add ACV. Everytime I mix it up everyone is like what is all that for, so I have to explain what each thing is for. So everybody at the barn thinks I baby my horse to much. Of course everybody there is old school too. Majority of the horses only get oats, and hay.
To each their own!!!!

Lol, I've got that a couple times, but not from barns, from others in my area(we have a forum for those who ride horses in our area).

My coach actually offers it with feed. But she buys ground, so I supply whole flax for my filly. I feed BOSS as well, but I think I'm going to stop, because I think its effects are better if fed at higher amounts(I only feed 2 cups), which they don't need.
