Hilda is... if anything... blunt.

My trainer has ridden with her and the stories are humorous but definitely not for the faint of heart. I've heard that she is very direct but that she is also friendly and complimentary too...so, If I were you, I'd definitely find an opportunity to take a lesson with her if you can. She is a brilliant trainer, and I think it would be interesting to get her assessment of Penny's movement.

Also, Chemaine Hurtado (at Caliente Creek) is a dressage trainer who competes quite a bit, but I don't know how she is as a teacher. You might get her assessment too. (then compare notes - that would be interesting!!!)

I definitely think she has some talent for dressage - and that's definitely something you could keep doing as her pregnancy progresses. Her movement is lovely!!

She has the suspension & movement for it, but I'm not sure if her attitude, for lack of a better word, can take it. She is pretty hot undersaddle, but as calm as can be when not. Funny girl.

Maybe I'll work her up first with my trainer friend, put some muscle back on Pen, then try Hilda's.
