Great pics. Do you know parents backround? Or have pics just a lil curious. This is evolved with these breeds. We could back and forth endlessly. My post was for the splash filly and her visual marks and genetics. But all are beautiful.

I am confused as to why are you saying this filly has Tobiano? She does not seem to have any of the signs of Tobiano I am familar with. She clearly looks Splash and possibly Sabino to me. Are there some signs I am missing?

The tobiano gene from her parent(s) will have a visual pattern of tobiano

Again, not sure I understand. Not a single horse on the breeder's site looks even remotely Tobiano to me.

Her sire is a Mighty Awesome son and he looks to have simply white on his legs and face. The mare is a Quarter Horse and so she cannot have Tobiano markings or she would not be registered as a Quarter Horse.

So, neither her parents nor her have any sign of Tobiano that I can see. Am I missing a sign?

ACC said something about her possibly being tobiano. We now know that she cant be tobiano, we just got into a discussion about it.

Doesnt have to. This horse is homozygous for tobiano

If he has been tested negative for LWO how do you know he is frame?

The Tobiano coat pattern "kit " geneis linked to Tob. pattern.Another way to check is the color around the chesnut that is white surrounding it. The sabino gene mutation has been the determining cause of Sabino coat pattern found in all breeds. When mating two of the same you can a get a solid genetic pattern from the pigmentation. The gene dilutes main pigmentation of the color. I say tobiano because the gene factor could be present and might not have visible tobiano pattern. Sabino patterns visually are jagged or ragged patches with no smooth patches around edges.
