No there is not always. Not even most of the time. Ony in wild splashes is that line apparent and it isnt even then.

The definate splash is a seperation of a white line seperating from the dark , usually on top. She has patches of dk on white.

Sabinos have ventral white marks extending outward from belly. and patches of dark are ragged around edges hers are smooth. Who knows?

You can't know if Homozygous because we don't have def pic of sire or dam and what genes filly inherited from them.
If only one parent has tobiano gene it will have tobiano pattern. Blood test given to find out what tobiano markers are in genes = one or both genes

You can have a very educated geuss with splash because homzygous horses are loud patterened splash whites.
