Paprika does not darken the coat, it only prevents it from fading. It's best to start feeding it to them in February or March or so, so that the new summer hair that's coming in will be "paprika'd"

| Full Member | OK, then maybe not my best choice. I have a weanling going to futurities in 4 weeks. Last week we had a nice cold rain and chilly night. She furred up on me and now I am going to have to shave her. Any ideas on getting her coat to darken up once she is shaved? |
