i stink at writing papers for a class. ive been working on my junior project (5-7 page paper) since about.. 8 or 9 this morning. im on my 4th page right now. there were several times when i had major writers block, i had no idea what to say. im stuck now as well, plus im dead tired from writing all day haha when i have to write something for english, im usually pretty ok w/ that. but when i have to research something like this, my brain goes kaput.

i dunno how many other ppl have to do a junior project, so i will explain. in order to pass the class, and the grade, you HAVE to do it. its done in American Studies 2. you pick a topic, any topic your little heart desires, as long as its debateable. then you research, and write about it. ho-rah.

and whatta ya kno? i chose PETA as my topic! haha at first i thought i wouldnt even be able to make it to 3 pages, but i think ill be able to get 5, or at least 4 1/2. oy.. i hope i get a good grade on this.

does anyone else suck really badly at papers? and for the procrastinators out there, when do you end up doing it? haha this was due back on Dec. 18. but i have clock busters, which alows me to turn things in late. and, uh, i just started it (just barely) last night. heh ooops. but i made some great progress today, eh? its amazing what can happen when i actually put my mind to something and stick to it.. for a while lol and we only have like 11 school days left in this semester. so after i turn this in, the weight of the world will be lifted off my shoulders. and the last 11 days will be sooo much better.

First, make sure your requirements on the paper....

Margine Size, Single or double space, etc.

Most of my college papers are to be double spaced, margins at 1 inch all around.

Trust me, that double space can take a 3 page paper to 6 in a heart beat.

And I usually write my papers the day before.

how do I do it? I glance at the research between the day assigned and the day I write it.

I put all my research on my desk, the floor around me, in order that I want to talk about it.....then.....I go for it. I re-read it about 4-5 times, re-organize if needed...... drag one person to read it and proof-read it for me. Then sign, seal, and deliver before anything else happens.
