Paisley Baby #1 At Ahshling Stables Due April 29th

Yup yup yup!!! The first Paisley baby of the farm this year is due in about a month now. Our mare Highland Thistle(aka Roll), a Perch/TB Cross, is coming around the bend of her pregnancy. Roll had a filly last year, Snowbound Kelsie:

And Tymac 2 years before that(she reabsorbed the embryo last in between Kelsie and Ty):

I'm kind of hoping for another boy this year. But I don't know. What would you all hope for? I guess in a way a filly would be great because look at Kelsie! She's just a cutie!

But yeah a little under a month left to wait! I'm so excited. I'm on lock down on the farm to make sure Roll stays comfy and happy till the blessed day. Changes are occurring already, she barely ate her hay today. And for that horse not to finish her hay is a big thing. So I'm keeping quite the watchful eye on her. Cross your fingers for a healthy baby!!

BEAUTIFUL .. I can't wait to see the new arrival...when he/she decides to make its appearence!

Kelsie is gorgeous.. I LOVE her face!
