First... I truely appreciate what you are doing. It is nice to let her settle in before doing much work in cleaning her up. Some groceries in be belly will do more good right now.

Second....The people who did this need to be taken out behind the wood shed.

I hope these people go to jail and get the **** kicked out of them, I am beond angery at people who get kicks out of hurting animals.

The lady that fostered him and now you saved him, he is pushing into you for that is what horses do to protect themselves it is a built in mech with in him, just be sure to not to get pinned if so have the person push into him and you that will make up reverse. You more than likey know this already, I had a bad spot back a year ago, I was working on a horse and he pinned me, the more I pushed him the more he pushed into me. Once he is healed up you can start working on his mind, God I hate seeing horses like this yet seeing is educating, you have done a remarkable thing, and he will know, I am sure he knows already. sorry about my rambling here...

Poor guy... But I agree with people. I dont understand how some people do this or let it happen. But i am glad you gave this little guy a chance and i hope that he becomes the loving horse that he looks like.

The road to recovery will be a long, slow one.

He has been abused, mentally and physyically. It will take him awhile to trust again. But I have faith that you will win him over.

I'm so glad he has found a good home.

Talking

Great job in giving this new guy a caring home. I, along with all the others would love to get ahold of the previous abusive owners and see how they would like it if we punished THEM the way they punished that animal!

Anyways, everybody knows it will take time and patience for him to come around. Don't forget to post your update photos. Good luck!

I talk to my horses all the time!!! They may not be able to understand your exact words, but they CAN understand your tone of voice!!! I talk to my horses more than I do people!! Just like someone else said too....I too can't understand how some people treat them like an animal, and then expect them to be able to comprehend human thinking, words, and logic!! I don't get it!!?? But, anyway...best of luck with him and Thank You for rescuing him!

In a just world, the people who did this to him should get the same punishment. In the afterlife, they will.

We'll pray for your patience and guidance and his full recovery.
