Ovation Saddles?

Quote:
Ovation SaddleWe were pleased to find this great quality affordable saddle. The leather quality and craftsmanship of the Ovation make this saddle a tremendous value for the money. The seat is accurate with thigh padding. Call for tree widths. Price:$899.00
Im not 100% on the Stubben, I dont like the flaps. So I found this saddle, this is what the tack shop that my trainer recommended me too says about it... It is the only new saddle they carry under $1700...

2 of my friends have these saddles, and they are pretty nice. We sell a lot of them at the taack shop I work at, and haven't really had any complaints. The leather is pretty decent and if you oil it well, it actually softens up okay. They seem to fit a wide range of horses decently also. They are pretty comfortable too. For the price I don't think they are bad saddles.

I love my ovation. I tried out pessoas, stubbens, and several other upscale brands.. I ended up with the ovation. It fit more horses, it was the most comfortable, and I found with the three stubbens I tried out, that it evenly distributed pressure along the back/loin much better. One of the stubbens I rode in, just two times and it make my horses back really sore. It fit him everywhere but put tons of pressure on his back, uneeded pressure. I love my ovation. I have been jumping 3' plus with it, doing flat work and toying with dressage and it all puts me in the right spot for each.

I was at a horse show last weekend and one of the vendors had two Ovations. They are made in Argentina, but with very nice English leather. They were MUCH nicer than the HDR that was sitting next to them. I would definitely consider one.

I just bought a used ovation event, the leather is really nice quality and the saddle is comfortable. Seems to have held up well. It doesn't quite fit me the best though but I don't want to give it up lol
