Well I hope I am not bothering with my posts.....lol. I will watch her from the windows and camera. She is standing going from leg to leg to releive weight. Her tail seems to be rubbing her vulva rather than swishing. She keeps looking at her belly. Very alert at any noise, even the dog chasing his tail. She looks like she is having catractions trying to go poo, but only nothing but a dribble of watering stuff.

Just taken......

I think this is loose and swollen more so today than ever. SHe crinkles up a little when I look but this is longer when you act like your not looking/peeking

What I mean about seeing movement and todays changes

Very, very close. Watch for watery stool or very little stool. Eating alot right before is not abnormal. You probably are seeing contractions... those can go on a long time before the "real" contractions start. Her rolling and getting up and down alot is likely her adjusting the baby's position. And the tail holding out, definitely a big sign there. Watch for pacing, sniffing the ground, circling, pawing, biting her tummy, holding her tail to the side, etc.

One thing that always signals it's really time is when she breaks water, she will look like she is pee'ing a water fall! I used to hear it from the office when I was foal watching at the standardbred farm....and knew it was time! never failed too...I hope she has it tonight! Cathy

This morning I could not see her anywhere so I went out and looked, fed while I was at it. Seems the brown line I thought was mud line/shelter straw on the camera was her body..... I just couldnt see her back or neck. Any how, I startled her a bit, of course not on purpose. She was laying down, grunting with a big sigh. She rolled, has alot of belly under her, got up and shook. Kicked her belly three times and asked wheres my breakfast. It is raining again and we have yellow and red on radar coming. I put some panels around the open end and the side that is not finished to keep her in the shelter. Its warm, dry and cozy for her and I beleive big enough for her.

Today in the past two hours I've been out fixing camera angle and digging a trench around the shelter Yankee has done this......alot.

*Pee
*Sigh
*Snort, like they do when they get mad or scared, but hers is softer
*Squat and do nothing
*Eat her meal and go after the straw, seems she has become a glutton for anything to eat
*Swish her tail constantly, especially when the baby moves
*Bite her side

When she was rolling, she has ALOT of baby under rather than sides. Also another thing I've noticed this morning is the sides of her legs. How I can describe is between her stifle and her dock, her legs are very jiggly, sunken in like hallow. I thought this was suppose to happen on the top of her rump? WHich is sunken in also around her dock BUT more so on her legs/thigh area.

I'm watching her now on cam and she is swishing away. And her urine in like a milky/yellow and has a horrible odor. Pewh! Talk about pass out lethal.

I'm not an expert on breeding, I've only been through it once with my own horse. It sounds to me like she's just really uncomfortable. You probably have a bit more to wait... which is good, you don't want her foaling too early.

I know the waiting at the end seems to go on forever! My mare went a week over and it was killing me...

Here's a pic of mine when he was a week old... he's almost 4 now.

I can't wait to see the little one though!!!
