Yep , extra close is right. She has been filling her milk fast since this morning. As she fills, the wax has gone, no drip anymore, and her teats have become a shaded gray color around leaving her teats a dark black color. Could this be so they are noticeable for the foal to see? And why would her udders change color like this. Its kinda like an ashy look around the teats. The foal is live. I saw it move, not tap tap or thump thump, but move above her udders.

I've been reading and saying Doodle from everyone posts, while I was talking to my husband I was calling Yankee, Dankee and didnt even know it....lol. No wonder I was getting a weird look. My brain must be way out there today.

As God is my witness, I swear this is the only thread I will respond to until Yankee has her baby!

Unless my mare has her's first, then I have to post the news and pictures....but until then, only this thread!

(Maybe that is what everyone here wants me to do.....I think I have had 1 to many cups of coffee today, sorry!)

LMAO Bnttyra!!!

Buckin'... You WILL make it. It WILL be soon. Don't let her bag change let you think she is not as close as you thought... sometimes weird changes can't be explained but are actually a sign of go time, especially in maidens.

Lol... okay... I know my mind is in the wrong spot right now. But what if the name of the baby was "Yankee's Doodle" .... and she had a boy!

I know, I'm horrible... but I'm almost on the ground laughing
