Poor Yankee! What a sore looking belly. I hope some of that edema goes down.

Just whisper into her ear, and let her know that she'll feel better once the baby comes out!

So, any plans for breeding again in the future? LOL, this has been sort of a nightmare for you.

LOL is right. That's like asking if I'm gonna have anymore children. Motherhood and parenting have been and still is fun, amusing at times too. Truly if you are or have been a parent, auntie, uncle anything you should know where the words "sh## happens" comes from or at least should have come from. Well this is one of those times and we deal with it best as possible.

So the answer is no, no and no.........

Love the comment though.

Wow, I'm really surprised she didn't foal last night! I really thought she would.

LOL, as a mother of two myself, I totally understand sh** happens!

Me personally, I *might* go through pregnancy and child rearing again, but that window is closing fast....

I am going to breed my other mare, but she is a lot smaller...lol!

Good luck. C'mon, Yankee! We want a baby tonight!

Here are some pics (video clips) from today. I've been going through them for what I did not see. I usually edit them and delete what is just the same ol thing to free space on my hard drive. No foal yet and honestly she acted more last night as if she were going to foal than tonight. She is just walking around nibbling on the bedding, chewing and dropping it. Weird.

No pics. We have weather right now where we just go feed, check fence and animals health and go back inside and watch for new mini lakes form .

Interesting as I was editing video. At exactly 36 seconds into this video frame look right under the flank. Its the foal thumping around. I just noticed this on video so I kept this part of it.

Yankee today earlier. She was in for a good hour or so and still pacing around.

And her belly. OMG its definately dropped now. There is absolutely no arguement about that fact now.
