Truly I cant wait either to see whats gonna come out of that belly. But we have to wait.......lol

Pretty much everyone here has the pics that I see. I may have a bit more vivid look because I'm actually looking in person. I give up on guessing. I've been up since Jan 17 saying anyday. Got ahold of a good vet here and he said the adema was fine and common in heavily pregnant mares. Watch it and not to much to do unless it really starts getting out of hand. Says to take her for nice brisk walks but that out of the question right now due to rain, wind and MUD. Maybe we'll get to it Tuesday. So she is fine and I worry for nothing. This was my friends vet for her horses, a good one and unfortunately he does not travel over here.

So I'm going to update tonight and go eat dinner and watch a movie and the TV monitor of Yankee. She is eating, takes a bite and walks, takes a bite and walks in a circle. I did see the foal move today so it is alive. It was just a few thumps right around where she has the adema. Her teats I can see the openings where the milk comes out. I guess that is a good sign also. I've never actually seen them open up but today. No milk coming out. No waxing. Lots and lots of milk coming. Her adema is a little worse than this morning and seem to be getting to the middle part of her belly. She is urinating and goes poo frequently (once every five minutes at least) Sometimes back to back.

Please don't fall asleep tonight. (I know you won't.)

This email hit me heavy and I wouldn't even call it a prediction... my gut says I will wake up to pictures in the morning. Large bay colt with a star and left hind sock.

Anything yet? I soooo understand how you are feeling cause I am right there with you on my mare. You start to wonder if that little creature is ever coming out! Can't wait to hear the big news and see some pictures.

I almost feel bad coming in the morning and saying "no foal" because every1 is waiting so eagerly.

The only change from yesterday is that her stomach is extremely lumpy at the bottom. She has a lump here and a lump there. Its just not even across anymore. I've seen heavily pregnant mares like this before. The adema has set in to almost half way down the sides of her stomach, looking like big veins running through. She wobbles and looks like her legs are outward to go around her tummy when she steps.

Last night she lay down and lay on her side also looking at her sides. She is still rubbing and has extremely loose stools this morning.

Well, she has a clean dry shelter if she wants to go in there and do it. I let her out to walk around as she pleases so she can get some movement for the adema. I do hope she does foal because I was told the adema can get severe and usually foaling takes it away.

Of course I'll be watching her and I'm still going to stick with by midnight Sunday our time which is Pacific.

Lumpy belly...
