Thumbs down Our Pit Bull Has Been Stolen!*Update*

I am so angry and sad! Abby was in the barn with mom and dad Sturday evening. She went thru the hall of the barn to the front drive like she does often to lay in the driveway. Only 10 to 15 minutes had passed when they called her to put her up for the night and she was gone. She is nowhere to be found. I have put up fliers, we have called and reported her stolen with the police, we have searched the neighborhood and questioned all the neighbors. I have contacted every local news team, radio station and rescue organization that I can find contact info on and I have begged them to help us. But it has been over 48 hours now and we have heard nothing. I am not sure what else to do! My heart is breaking thinking about what she may be going thru if someone stole her because they wanted a fighting dog. She won't fight. She is not aggressive at all and they usually beat and torture and eventually kill the dogs that won't fight.

What else should I do? What else can I do?

That is horrible! Oh I hope you find her. Have you put food out incase she was to run off.

Oh I will keep her in my thoughts!

That's just it, she wouldn't run off. Other dogs can be running in front of the house and she never leaves the yard. It is almost as if she vanished into thin air.

Praying

First of all, I am going to say a prayer right now that she returns to you safe and sound.
Secondly, I am going to tell you a little story:
I had a pit bull long ago and the same thing happened. I had two dogs. One (the pit) had to be put on the run cuz she would take off. The other was free all the time. One morning I put out the dogs...tying up the pit and not the other. Shortly after, I hear a barking...a weird bark. I look outside and there is the dog that I NEVER tie up....TIED UP!! My other dog is GONE!!!! Someone had the audacity to come into my yard and take the collar right off of her and place it on my other dog.
Frantic...she is nowhere to be found and, like your dog, is not aggressive.
(Well, I didn't think so anyway)
A few days later, who comes running into the driveway....a little ragged looking but alive. My girl!!! She got away from the brute jerk that took her. I pray that this happens for you too.

Thanks guys! And if you think of any resource that could be useful that I am overlooking, please let me know. I feel helpless enough as it is, but when you run out of options then it gets really bad.

Just make sure to check with any animal control/humane societies around there! And keep checking!

And by checking, you should physically attend and check because they often don't check properly as to what is in the cages
