Opinion on Sports Medicine Boots

didn't know whether to put this in health or training- didn't really seem to fit in either. I need some sport medicine boots for lucy (my QH) for gaming, etc. what do you reccomend? I have been thinking of the Pegasus brand ones, they look pretty nice (and are supposed to not get as warm as other types).

Does anyone have an opinion ?

I have never used them and I'll be interested to see what everyone reccomends. I have mostly seen the SMB brand ones...

I've got SMB's which are pricey, but good.

Also have a pair of Brumby Pro Sport boots, for the price they're pretty good. They're ones I wont cry over when they get wrecked.

I swear by Classic Equine Legacy boots, they are so much better than Pro Choice SMBs. They last a lot longer, hold their shape well and the velcro is great.

I use SMB, thier an older pair that I found cleaning out the barn one day and have been using them eversince and I love them. They were probably about 3 years old by the time I found them and had never been used before, so by now thier probably 5 years and still in amazing shape other than the colors kinda faded from lots of getting muddy and wet.

I have a pair of Professionals Choice SMBII's (my second pair...my first ones were stolen )...and I just love them! I have had this pair for about 4 years....and even through sand and mud and water, they have held their shape, the color hasn't faded, and the velcro still works great. I have a pair of Pro Choice's skid boots as well...they about about 6 years old...and showing SOME wear (more than the front boots), but that's to be expected since they slide through the sand I highly recommend them...I know others on this forum have had issues with them (I believe there was a comment something like, "they lost their shape like a pair of old, wet socks!" )...but I've had none of those issues...and would/will buy the same ones again in the future!

thanks so much everyone, I think I will go with the SMB's... is the SMB II just a newer style or is it different than an SMB?
