Just wondering what kind of time frame everyone is working with to get these horses moved out and to where they need to be. Just something to consider as I'm sure time is probably of the essence.

Also, I think it would help to know who of the folks that already has agreed to take one of the horses has transport for them or who needs it.

ETA: I have some homemade horse treats I'm willing to donate if we have an auction.

Hi all.. I have agreed to take Blue and have made arrangements with Shelly as to get him gelded and then I will drive up with my trailer and get him when he is healed and ready to take a five hour ride back home to Wellington.... Jean Ann

I have a nice corral that can rest the traveling horses for free.
Overnight or a few days.
I'm located in Cortez, Colorado.
PM me for contact info.
We have nice hotels in the area for the humans, or i have an RV plug in.
Anything to help out.

Dang I really wish I were closer or I would help haul!!

Once a fund is set up I will gladly donate some money to help pay for the fuel.

I don't know what is going on Shelly, but I am so sorry you are going through this!! You and your horses are in my thoughts and prayers ((HUGS))

Evoo, can we get a current list of who has homes and who doesn't? I know booboo is spoken for and WILL need transport. Blue is spoken for and has transport. I'm working on a home for Lady and or possibly the older mare. I will know more tonight. Do the others who have been spoken for have transport? If not I'll go ahead and set up routes and estimate funds needed.

I'm just the facilitator. They're Shelly's horses so ultimately she will decide who goes where. My aim was to get them as many prospective homes by this weekend as possible in order to simplify logistics of travel -- but it looks like some have been promised out without transport so I'm not sure where to go from there. We don't have transport offers to those areas, unless I am mistaken.

I've chatted with her about Cherokee. When she gets on I'll know for sure, but we are able to take her. However, I'm not sure about transport. I am in NC, so.
