One of the recent rescues here in Central Piedmont, NC

Meet Ziggy.

I honestly can't get over what some people do to animals...

Ziggy is currently under the care of the USERL. If you would like to follow his progress, he has a "fan page" in Facebook.

I am ****ing speechless! I really hope this horse comes out ok. I have nothing to say about this. I am stunned to say the least.

WOW.....I've seen several rescue horses that I thought were the absoloute worst. Poor Ziggly looks like a walking skeleton. Poor baby.

Oh my goodness, he beats my worst case ever.

I'm glad to see he is in better hands and truly hope for a good recovery.

I can only hope that his previous owner was taken out behind the barn , I know that bad things happen to good people....... but this is unbelievable .
