One last Scottsdale update

OK well before I said I wouldn't get to a computer again...but I lied. lol Turns out my mother had to book an airline ticket for my dad to fly down here, so I came with.

So since last update our stallion Couturier was shown (first time in the performance ring EVER) today. He picked up two reserves in his first two classes and a third in his third class. We were VERY proud of him. He looked amazing, the trainer he's with refers to him as "my next national champion" and so do all the grooms, it's really cute. He not as consistant as most of the horses, but what can you expect from and 8 year old stallion that had only done halter and breeding up until this point.

I was almost in tears when I heard where he placed!

The next this is that I showed in the AOTH Signature Auction filly class. There were 36 fillies in the class, I showed Rick's daughter Sabrina WA, she was really good! We made Top Ten, so we show again Saturday to pin Champion and Reserve. We have 3 (different) Europeans wanting to buy her, but we're not letting her go easily. So well will see what happens with that. I was really proud of her!

Mariachi WA made Top ten in his class yesterday. He goes again friday I believe for the finals! But we are thrilled with Top Ten in a three year old colt class!

I have pictures! But I will post them when I get home, for now I am just very very very happy with our horses.

OHHHH Meg, I swear, I have tears in my eyes at how INCREDIBLE Rick has done for less then 6 months of saddle training!!!!!!!!! And Awesome about Sabrina and Steve as well!!!!!!!!!

I am so thrilled for you guys, setting an excellent example in the breed that a top halter horse can produce top halter horses AND can also be a top performance horse and produce performance horses as well! True breed type
