| Full Member | ok...what pattern is he??? Well, this is my baby...although, since he is a yearling sometime this month, i guess he isn't really a baby anymore... BUT! once he finally gets his first bath(scary!) he will be registered, and i would loooove to know what his pattern is... He is a 12 month old, 13.1 hh, 458 lbs Chincoteague stud colt(working on getting him gelded, don't worry. the problem is he has only dropped one test.icle and the vet cant find the other... )anyway, have fun figuring out his pattern!! thanks sooooooo much in advance! http://s281.photobucket.com/albums/kk208/shallstein1/

| Senior Member+ | Do a search here - lots and lots of threads on those patterns and what they mean The roaning is not uncommon in a Tobi that also has Sabino, it seems. That "funky spot" could be considered a paw print and often means the horse is homozygous for Tobiano.

| Full Member | thank you very very much!! also, would he be able to be registered with any other registries? his parents are ONLY registered with the chincoteague registry as he is island bred, meaning he is one of the auction foals, not privately bred... so, just so i am clear(I am blonde and get confused VERY easily) he is technically a tovero?
