ok, here's what I'm gonna do, I'll keep this open until 2-28-08 and put all the momma's names in a hat, jar or whatever and whomevers name get's picked by my daughter on 2-28 will get a $25 money order as a new baby gift....everyone deserves a new baby gift..lol...good luck

This is Pages Promise (Page). She's our Red Dun Splash Overo Hot Scotch Man/Page Impressive granddaughter. We bred her to Reflections Playboy (Player) for a mid-march 2008 foal... and then she's getting a year off.

Im hoping for a dun overo filly, but we'll see Last years was a Dun solid (well, he had a spot, just no pink skin... unless Helen's not telling me something) colt. And this foal will be for sale

A friend of mine has a trakehner mare in foal to a dutch stally that I've claimed "Dibbs" on if its a filly (she's keeping if its a colt)

I have owned my mare for 7 years and decided it was time for me to get a new show mount, and to breed her, and I opted to breed her and TRY and get a foal to replace her in the show pen, and yes, wait a few years before riding (i do have another filly that will be two next year and a 4 year old QH mare...so its not like I dont have another horse to ride/work with).

She is a 15.3 bay tobiano paint mare. I did the APHA all around with her, plus halter, hunters (2feet-2'3), did some dressage, reining, cattle sorting, barrels, poles, etc.

I decided to breed her to a stud that has proven himself in the all-around events but excelled in halter. The stud I chose was Mr Tramp a black tobiano stallion. Acme Acres helped me find him and such so I give cudos to her

Sage is a maiden mare.

DUE DATE IS MARCH 25.

I am hoping for a bay or black (I will most likely get a bay) homozygous tobiano (so it will always pass on the tobiano gene) colt of filly. Gender doesnt really matter to me at all.

My plan for the foal is also to do all-around with it. Compete at the APHA level and get points on it in various events including halter.

I planned the breeding, and paid the stud fees and prepared every step of the way.
We are in the final countdown states with approximately 30 days to go until foaling. She was bred late April ( have to look at me breeding dates at the house to get the exact days)

I'm hoping for a bay dun or grulla blanket foal. I plan at the moment on keeping the foal and training for mounted shooting competitions and Breed shows.

OMG! Cant believe I didnt put the due date down!

This wasn't a planned breeding on our part, but on Moondust's part it was. She kept breaking out of her area and getting in with my friend's only stallion when she lived over there. We are 7 months pregnant (due may 25th). Heres the most recent shots of my girl and her big belly!



Oh, and here's the daddy, he's a cream too. He is one of the sweetest horses I've ever met, so I'm glad that he was her only choice being the only stud out there! We are keeping the foal as a western pleasure horse just like momma!

She was my jumper. She became blind in one eye and I've decided to retire her and let her have a baby of her own.
