Well, I don't have pictures because I packed my disk of pics in prepartion for moving, but I have 4 or 5 mares due this year. First up is a reg. Pinto mare Chauncey, bred to a reg. Paint Stallion. She is due April 16th. Purposely bred, foal is for Chauncey's last owner. Then there is Abby, a reg. Paint mare, bred to the same reg. Paint Stallion. She is due May 3rd, foal is pre-sold if it's a colt, if it's a filly we're keeping it. Then there's Ellie, a reg. Arab. mare bred to the same reg. Paint stallion. This foal is a keeper if it's a filly. It's pre-sold if it's a colt. Then there is Heather, a reg. Paint mare, bred to a black and white reg. Paint stallion, Cash. She is due June 6th. Foal is sold if it's a colt. Might be up for sale if it's a filly. And last is the maybe mare. My mustang Nahima jumped the fence into the stallion pen (reg. Arabian) and spent a night or two with him, the little hussy. We didn't want her bred. She's a horse that you absolutely can NOT get a vet near, we did try. So, it's a wait and see if she took or not. If so she'll be due July 17th. Those are all that are due here this year.

-was your mare purchased or given to you already pregnant? She was purchased already pregnant. Yankee was in her very early stages and it was not noticeable. We purchased her for the girls to ride in Gymkhana this year and had planned to condition her. Plans changed in October when we were pretty sure she was in foal. Or did you plan each step? We planned each step of her care since October. We did not plan her pregnancy. -Or was it an accident? DEFINATELY -Was it a surprise that she is pregnant? Hec yes! We took her for sonogram Dec 17th. The vet said "theres your foal, moving around". I looked at the picture and asked literally "You're kidding me, right?". She said no. I truly wanted to start tearing up from being so upset. The only thing I could think of was that we are not ready for this to happen. I was upset for a few weeks until we started preparing for her. - Do you know the daddy? No. Its a toss up between two definate studs. #1 - A QH Palomino young stud. #2 - A APHA stud. Color unknown. This stud is becoming unlikely though with the time frame. Reason being is because Yankee may foal very soon. If she does, that would put the paint out and definate on the Pali. If it was the paint who bred her, she would foal late March or into April. -How much longer do you think it'll be for your foal? Within a week I think. Due date unknown. She is fully bagged and dropped. She is a maiden and I think extremely large but some have seen larger. -What are you expecting/hoping for? Healthy - sound with no problems. Then we'll go onto a colt, dark bay like mom or black/Charcoal color. Would like the TB look and conformation. Now that my husband has finally accepted a foal is coming he would like a filly - buckskin. -What are planning on doing with your foal? We have two horses and a pony. I see another staying. Husband is unsure. We can afford it and I love doing ground and saddle breaking. We would be able to add another calm, gentle trail horse to our family. |

I don't have pics right now but I thought that I would add my girl in here. Her name is Sun Rock Seranade. (Sera) She was bred, on purpose, to a beautiful registered QH named Tommy. I can't remember what his registered name is. Anyway, she was pasture bred so I don't know the exact due date but we are pretty sure it will be the first week in April. This is her first baby and ours. We are very excited. I am hoping for a colt, color doesn't really matter. As to what we are going to do with baby, that remains to be seen depending on the baby. We have a lot of horses already so we may sell, my husband thinks I won't be able to let it go. So we will see. I thought that I better add her since there is a prize incentive. Thanks for doing this and good luck to everyone for the babies and the gift. |

Ok, here is what I am expecting: Due Feb. 21 - Intensly Fancy : she is bred to Res. World Champion "Bearly a Diamond" I own this mares dam, I bred for this mare, raised her up, and now she is having world quality foals for me! SHe has had 3 foals ( all by my stallion Conclusified whom we sadly lost last year) and with just these 3 foals, given me 2 Top 3 World titles, 7 Futurity Championships, 2 Reserve Championships, 2 Honor rolls, Superior Halter. I am very excited about this foal, as I have no idea what it will be by a different stallion. She will be getting bred back to 4x World Champion "Seriously Secure" . Will have to attach pics later. Due March 12 : Blondies Cody bars , she is also bred to Bearly A Diamond , she has also given me a top 5 world , superior halter, multiple futurity champions. She will be bred back to World Champion Mighty Clu this year. Due March15 : Sonnys Candy Apple ( Intensly fancy's dam) she is bred to Res World Champion "No Time For Kidding", she has given me many futurity champions who go on to ride and work on the ranch. Looking to possibly lease her out for this years breeding season, or find a good retirement home for her. Due March 16 : Whisper Western: She is also Bred to No Time For Kidding, whisper is an own daughter of Western Impress out of an own daughter of Zip To Impress. SHe has also given me many futurity champions/money earners. She is leased out for this years breeding and will be bred back to Bound And Determined. Due March 12 : Rojos Obvious Image, she is bred to Bearly a Diamond. This is her first foal, very excited as this mare is bred awesome! Multiple World champion Doubley Impress on top and Obvious COnclusion on bottom. Still Deciding who to breed her to, depends on what she has this time. Will attach pics of them all later. Hey thanks!! That is my sisters stallion. When I lost gunner last year ( Conclusified) I was at such a loss, I wasnt even going to show let alone breed, felt like mywhole world came crashing down, everything we built around him just got yanked away. My sister grabbed me and told me I wasnt going to quit, and here I am now, with bear babies coming!!! Anyway, Bear and gunner always duked it out in the showpen, was fun. Bear throws awesome foals, halter and riders so it should be interesting to see what I get in comparison to my others. This is "No Time For Kidding" ![]() |

I have 7 foals due this year. I don't really have a "story" as breeding is part of my business but I will post information on the girls anyway. Most of my breedings were planned (unless otherwise specified). First due is Winsome Golden Lily; she's a brown (registered as a dun but I don't think she is) mare. I have Lily on a free lease at the moment. She is due approximately March 15th ish. She is bred to my cremello stallion, Triple CS Snow Buck. I'm hoping for a buckskin filly out of this cross. Lily is on the left, Cowboy (Snow Buck) on the right. Next is Lil Paint Dipped Abbit; she's a black and white splash overo. This is her first foal with me. Abbie LOVES babies and kept trying to steal other mares foals last year so we decided to let her have one of her own (she's a real nice mare, too; had some nice babies!). She's due about April 15th. She is bred to a buckskin tobiano stallion, Jimmy Pandemoniums Wild Spirit. I'm hoping for a buckskin or palomino tovero out of this cross. Then I have RDBF Rowdys Pure Angel. She is a chestnut and is due around May 1. I actually sold Angel last year but ended up buying her back about a month ago. She is in foal to Easterbrooks San Diego, a smutty buckskin. He wouldn't be my first choice for a stallion but I consider this foal a bonus because if her previous owner hadn't bred her, she would not be in foal for this year... I'm hoping for a palomino or buckskin filly (gee, think I like cream dilutes? haha). Another mare due around May 1 is LTD's Abracadabra. She is a silver dapple frame overo mare and is bred to my cremello stallion. Savanna should have a very interesting coloured foal! I don't particularly care if this is a colt or a filly but a silver buckskin overo would be nice! A little bit later in the year I have DB Rain Drops and Roses, a beautiful palomino (homozygous) tobiano mare. This is her first foal. I wasn't going to breed her this year but later in the year decided to give it one try and well, she caught first try! She's due mid-July. She is also bred to my cremello stallion. The foal will either be a palomino tobiano or a cremello tobiano. I am hoping for a cremello tobiano - either a filly or a colt, I don't mind. And the last mare is LTD's Happy Color. She is actually the dam of LTD's Abracadabra. Jezzie is also a silver dapple frame overo. It took a few tries to get her in foal this year but she caught on our last one, so she is due at the mid to end of July. Not particular on the color or gender of this one either. So, that's my coming-foal crop for the year. Should be an exciting year! |

-was your mare purchased or given to you already pregnant? No planned out for almost a year -Or did you plan each step? Yes, We talked and planned it out -Or was it an accident? No -Was it a surprise that she is pregnant? Sort of. This will be the stallions 2 foal that was not owned by the stallion's owner. He breed more often, but the mares never kept in foal. We kept her over their house for a month. -Or did you already know it? We were pretty sure she was preg. We just needed to keep her preg. The last day she was serviced, he was not as happy to please as she was willing to provide. - Do you know the daddy? Yes. HE is a friends main trail stud / babysitter horse for their daughter. -How much longer do you think it'll be for your foal? 45 days -What are you expecting/hoping for? It does not matter sex wise. I have 3 geldings and my mare. So if it's a filly that is fine, if it's a colt, it will be gelded. I'm hoping for spots, but not holding my breath. I was told my mare is a BS paint, so it is possible. The stud, a reg. Arab. -What are planning on doing with your foal? Letting it grow up, Possibly being my son's horse. If he stays interested. |
