Thank you Katy for checking in. I'm sorry nothing has gone right with this for you. I hope your mare will fight this and be fine. Please keep in touch, we are grieving with you.

So she passed the colt on her own? Thats Great news, Now if a vet could just flush her out, and keep her on the meds. So people say to let them grieve by their foals for a couple days. My friend tried that and it didnt work out to good with her mare. I feel so much better now knowing that she's ok. A Big Hug to you and try to get some much needed rest. But I think your mares gonna be just fine, now the worst part is over.

Oh this is just horrible. I wish I was closer. I can't imagine having to go through this without some big shoulders to lean on not to mention the help in getting the mare to an equine vet.

<<HUGS>> and prayers for both Katylynn.

BW. I know where I am . I live in a little town called Viola, AR. It's between Mountain Home and Salem. 15 min from the MO border. It's in the north central part of AR.

Why do things have to go from bad to worse. I thought the worst (sp) was over until I was getting dressed and something bit me in the foot. I don't know if it was a wasp or a spider but now my foot is hurting and the spot is all red. I asked my boys if I could cry on their shoulders and they both refused. Ugh teenaged boys.
