Ok now I'm really worried about prego mare

That.picture.of.the.Bay.mare.was.taken.on.the.4th. of.October....she.foaled.on.
8th.of.November.....yep,she.held.on.for.another.5. weeks.

My mare held on for over 6 weeks after her due date. I am sure all is fine, sure hope she keeps us all updated!!

It depends on the mare as to how they look. We've had some rather huge qh mares including one that hardly fit through a standard stall door and she was no more than 15h. Then others were a bit slimmer built. Sometimes they don't even look pregnant a few days before they foal. My mom has mentioned 3 or 4 mares that my grandma bought which looked skinny or like they had just a slight hay belly and a week later there's a surprise foal. Usually we wait until they are 4weeks late to start worrying and call the vet out to check them over. I've rarely seen any go more than 3weeks past due date though.

My.grey.mare.got.massive.adema...seemed.to.have.it .for.14.days.before
she.foaled.

I'm going to try and take better pictures tomorrow. There was too much activity down by the barn where the best pictures can be taken and she would rather stay away from the activity that was going on.

ahhh, she is beautiful! I think you still got a little time to wait though! Not too long, she has dropped some it looks like, but still no V going on.

Sweetie, don't panic yet, our vet once told us that a mare was open, and he did a rectal exam, and put her in the open mares pasture, 10 days later she didn't come up to be fed in AM, so boss went out into pasture, and saw this little golden thing, thought from distance might be some one's stray yellow lab, she walks out there and it comes up to meet her going whinnny, "lab" was a full term foal.

Vet took major ribbing over that.

Jokes aside, did have one mare that delayed foaling because foal bed twisted, so would watch carefully, if it takes a while to get vet to come, would consider going ahead, and scheduling appointment for next week or so.

Keep an eye on her vagina, if she is getting close to delivery, then several days before the muscles around her vaginal opening will relax, and appear softer, and she will hollow out around her flanks. Some mares will not begin dripping milk/wax over.

Oh heck, another thought, you bought this mare in, she wasn't sutured was she, and your vet missed it during the exam. I'll PM you to ask quickly.
