They are all such individuals with regards to the temperature and firmness of the AV as well - make it too hot or too cool and they refuse to use it. Too firm or too soft - same thing. Men, huh?!

As I found out

There has been once or twice per season that GG simply is not in the mood for whatever reason. He is usually over and done with in about 3-6 minutes but on these occassions, 15 or 20 minutes later, he just stands there looking bored and uninterested. So - you just have to laugh as it happens so infrequently, CANNOT stress about the fact that the FedEx office closes in 45 minutes and grrrrr ..... you just HAVE to co-operate - NOW!!! And the mare is going to ovulate tomorrow for sure, take him for a walk, let him nibble some grass, let him take a LONG walk back to the breeding area and that usually gets him excited and by the time we get back once again he is ready to go AKA Gitterdone!

You just cant get mad or frustrated with them no matter what horrible time contraints you are under or they sense it and simply wont co-operate at all ...
